"I came to Boise not wanting to build a home and go through the entire process--can be very stressful. I found this home and several others in the area but I kept coming back to this one. The home had everything I was looking for plus. Having built so many homes I felt like I was able to examine this home and see the quality. " Tom Lee, Sonata Hills

the ice cycles are melting now, but oh the tales they tell of heat loss to the attic either through penetrations in the ceiling that need to be air sealed, or ducts in the attic that are leaking, or my bet combination of both...they are so pretty, so what is the problem??

The current economic crisis is the top news story for nearly every media outlet. But, somehow, one of the most important factors that led to this challenging market is also one of the least discussed.

Is it the home's location? No, but that it is important. Home Price? No again. These are aspects of a home purchase but the real decision comes from something else.

The following is an excerpt from the Antique Home & Style website describing the Arts & Crafts and Craftsman Movement. It follows Flynner Homes philosophy also, to build aesthetically pleasing homes while incorporating todays technology. It is no wonder why this construction style is still with us today. Its pretty interesting, check it out.

Yesterday's discussion on Bond Campbell's post about education and experience was very interesting. I am a believer that most things in life are a balance and this seems to be true here as well. Education with no real world experience would not make me comfortable as the builder's first client but what would it tell you if the builder was all experience and no education?
